We took a stroll through Bill Buchanan's Arcadia property, the other day. The gardens are so green, the lawn has grown exceptionally high and each home is looking so quaint and peaceful.
We chatted with Lawrence who explained the beautiful flowering Malabar Chestnut Tree... it's pod looking part mango and part cacao! But... one can roast the chestnuts for a delicious snack.

We are in need of wool donations for our Knitting Club.
If you are able to donate one or more yarns of wool, we would be so grateful 🙏

Bill Buchanan's knitting club are always helping a hospital ward, or an orphanage with warm beanies, gloves and slippers... as well as knitting breasts for women who have had mastectomies. Incredible ❤️

These ladies forge on with what they receive from you, our fellow residents and staff, and the general public.
