This is a junior role wherein you will gain experience in the following areas:

- Processing client’s payroll on Pastel Payroll
- Print the various important reports from Pastel Payroll for each client
- Processing client’s payroll manually, if/when required
- Completion and submission of WCC, PAYE, UIF, Income Tax, etc. Registrations
- Bargaining Council returns and submissions
- Maintaining client’s employee details with UIF
- Completion and submission of WCC returns
- Completion and submission of UIF returns
- Monthly submission of PAYE returns for all clients on SARS e-filing
- Working knowledge of ETI & how to calculate this manually
- Criteria for an employee to qualify for ETI, how to set it up on Pastel Payroll & what reports to print for the monthly EMP201 & Bi-Annual EMP501
- PAYE Reconciliation and issuing of IRP5’S on Easy file
- Application for Tax Directives
- Liaising with SARS, UIF, WCC, Bargaining Councils, Pastel Payroll
- Basic bookkeeping to TB including preparation and compilation of audit files
- Data capturing of clients accounting records on Pastel Partner
- Completion and submission of certain statutory returns including VAT201 etc
- Preparation of documentation for VAT, PAYE and Income Tax Reviews
- Preparation of Personal Income Tax Returns

Experience with the following computer programs is advantageous but not compulsory:
- Pastel Payroll
- Pastel Partner / Express
- Microsoft Office
- SARS E-filing
- SARS e@syfile
- cf-filing
- Teamviewer

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FOCUS OF THIS POSITION IS PAYROLL AND WE NEED SOEMONE WHO IS PEOPLE ORIENTED.
