What this means for the property market is that demand for stand-alone rental properties is shrinking and the demand for properties with semi-detached flatlets is on the rise.

It may sound a little odd, but don't make this space personal. If you are planning to sell your home, buyers want to be able to envision themselves in the space so try to avoid personal photos etc.
