A cake sale on a Friday is the best way to end the week! Thank you to our grade 2 and 3 parents for coming in to assist us, as well as our little ones who undertook to serve their "customers". We are so proud of you 👏

One of our outstanding pupils, Saiyan Moodley, can read fluently at grade R level! Well done Saiyan 👏

To continue our Book week celebrations, we hosted a school competition on who could decorate the most beautiful bookmark per class! The winners per class received a prize 🎁🥳 reading for the win!

Reading is an integral part of our culture at DNPS, and in honour of World Book Week, whether curling up in a cosy corner, taking advantage of the fortunate weather, or reading to a little friend our pupils really enjoyed their good book! Some of our pupils enjoyed reading in our newly revamped Media Centre.

Our gr R learners really enjoyed their first baker baker while learning important skills like communication, patience, counting, etc...which is important for their social and emotional development.

We look forward to seeing what our little bakers have in store for us next week!
