2024 Goals

Good evening my people. This will be a very condensed version of the post I initially wanted to put up but I think it's better this way.

As 2023 comes to a close I think we all need to carefully consider the endless fruitless cycles we find ourselves in. One of them being the making and, almost instant breaking, of unrealistic new years resolutions.

So let's start with a new New Years Eve Resolution, to only set realistic goals and to start achieving them. For example, instead of saying, "I hate my job and this year my new year's resolution is to quit." which is unrealistic and potentially harmful to you if you do not have a fall back, why not say that in 2024 you promise to start discovering what job you would like to do and work (study, make applications etc) towards obtaining that job or starting that business.

My goals for 2024 are as follows :

1. Be a better wife, mother, friend, Christian, niece granddaughter, etc. than I have been.

2. Streamline my life by cutting out all toxic entities and irritations so that I can be mentally well to give 100% to my family.

3. All those doors that God shut, I WILL KEEP THEM SHUT. I will not allow them to be forced open.

4. Live each day as best I can. If I fail, be kind to myself and afford others that same kindness.

5. Get Zoe into a good play group with other kids her age.

6. Seriously start writing my novel.

7. Spend more time silly dancing with the kids.
