Finally got around to editing this. On our recent trip through the Baviaanskloof over December, the need for some low range action was killing me so I took the boys out for the morning.

We found 2 really cool trails and really enjoyed the spectacular views and peace and quiet that the Baviaanskloof offers.

Braai at Ganzekraal next to the beach - Easter 2023

Quick drive out for a braai next to the ocean today. We live in a beautiful place.

We had to show some face at the Beer Festival in Greyton today. Our resident brew specialist "Stofgatter" is bringing something pretty special to the party and the level of fun is off the charts.

Another blessed beautiful day out with the guys. Drove the most beautiful roads, had a great lunch at ending up at one of my favourite campsites at Bakenskloof just outside Greyton.

Quick stop for a long awaited lunch at before we push on...

Braai time after a long and busy day out. Great experiences and so much learned.

Super day out at Welgelegen 4x4 this past weekend with the Patrol guys.

Fun was had, skills and vehicles were tested proper.

ADDO Elephant National Park camping with the family - December 2022

All good things must come to an end....

We had a ball of a time in the Eastern Cape this past festive season.

We started our journey with 2 nights at and what a memorable experience. The sightings were amazing and the facilities at the main camp was truly great.

Our next stop was 2 nights at in the Baviaanskloof . We entered from the Eastern side at Patensie and made our way West. Gareth from recommended this one and suggested we book campsite nr 12. Geezzz, never would we have imagined what we found. Peaceful, secluded and very private with our own ablutions. This was probably the place we rested the most. It was pure bliss!

From their we drove through the Baviaanskloof to our last camping spot at for 4 nights. A recommendation from Segal at . A proper long stay with mountains all around. Alta was a super host, friendly and always willing to to help or give some advice on the area. We did a 4x4 trail or two and spent lots of time in the pool. It was scorching hot!

We exited the Baviaanskloof on the Western side at Willowmore, did a breakfast and took the long drive to Franskraal where we spent the last 2 nights of our family holiday in a chalet at Uilkraalsmond Resort before we headed back home to get ready for 2023!

A true memorable holiday. Bucket list item done!

Thanks for being in a position and having the gear to make it possible.

The Nitro Max suspension made lightweight of everything we through at it. From very badly corrugated gravel roads, 4x4 trails, water crossings, Karoo tar roads, highways and everything in between.

All our gear made the trip a breeze!







Lastly, thanks to our Maker for being able to enjoy and embrace His creation with my family!
