Recently Jean baré however expanded our business to selected smaller independent salons who wants to stock Jean baré as part of the collection that they offer clientele. The strategy behind Jean baré’s home care range, is similar to the building blocks of any sustainable structure. We believe that cleansing and balancing of the skin is like any good foundation – the building will not stand without it. To enforce the foundations of a cleansed and pH balanced skin, deep cleansing the pores follows to get rid of any debri or bacterial infestations that might still be present in the skin. Here after we start building the walls of the building by ensuring healing of any damage the skin might have. To safeguard the walls of the building with iron rods, we see to it that the skin is restructured where necessary. Here after the walls get painted by ensuring nourishment to the skin. To put the roof on the building, we make sure all clients use a sunblock for 100% protection against the harmful UV rays of daily living. Because the products of the Jean baré home care range work in synergy with one another (like the building blocks of a house), it makes sense that some important ingredients are part of the products from the very beginning. Most importantly to mention is ingredients that are responsible for the formation of new collagen and elastin which is extremely important structural components of the skin that are present in quite a few products. Another important ingredient is a sunblock which is added to most of the home care range, in minute quantities to ensure that all the products used will build up to a sun shield, preventing unnecessary damage of the skin. Thorough pe*******on of all products is ensured by the addition of liposomes to the whole range. Other ingredients that are commonly used throughout the whole home care range, are the following:
• Enzyme blockers
• Ag++
• Circulation enhancement compounds
• Moisture compounds
The idea to incorporate these ingredients into most of the home care products, even in small quantities, is to ensure the global effect of the ingredient when all products as prescribed are used. Maintaining a good condition of your skin, is thus accomplished by the use of a Jean baré home care range. This however, is not enough, because your skin sometimes needs some elevation or you might be suffering from a skin condition that needs to be addressed in a more aggressive manner. This is accomplished by visiting a Jean baré salon for a professional facial treatment. Protecting - This range consists of our SPF Max and Sensitive as well as a soothing After sun lotion.

SPF which means Sun Protection Factor refers to the blocking of dangerous, cancer forming UVB sun rays. UVA rays also can cause cancer but does not cause the skin to have a tan (sunburn). UVA rays pe*****te very deep into the skin and causes wrinkles. A sunblock either absorbs the sun rays and converts it to energy (a chemical sunblock) or it scatters/reflect the sun rays (a physical sunblock). Examples of physical sun blocks are zinc and titanium dioxide. Chemical sun blocks are usually a combination of ingredients seeing that no one ingredient on its own blocks out all UV rays. Some sun blocks combine these two attributes.
