Engineering Graphics and Design Provincial Competition
Marissa Rademan and Emma de Lange took part in the Engineering Graphics and Design category, representing the BCM district in the Eastern Cape 2024 Technical Skills Vocational Competition sponsored by Sasol and the Kagiso Trust. Marissa came 2nd and Ms Moss came 2nd in the teacher section. They will both be representing the Eastern Cape at the National competition in Johannesburg at the UJ Conference Centre.
Well done to Inathi Mbengashe, Sinothando Zuma, Liyema Mbanya, Jenna Clarke, Ilke de lange, Josey Mauer, Addyson Stanton, Lewa Mzimane, Zimi Ngwendu, Khazimla Nomnganga who are part of the Phoenix Majorettes Team who won the Senior Eastern Cape Champion of Champions league over the weekend. Addyson was awarded Senior Majorette of the year and Ilke, Josey and Zimi were awarded their SAMCA Colours.
There was beautiful music - and nervous young musicians - on display at this week's Grade 8-11 Music Evenings.

Friday night's Vocal Celebration was spectacular - full of energy, enthusiasm and glorious song! Thanks to Stirling Primary for joining us!
Liam Prime and Avuzwa Makeleni attending the Triathlon Exchange Program Liam and Avuzwa raced in the Jever-Fun-Lauf 5km run in Germany. Liam won his age group and Avuzwa came 2nd in his age group.
They also participated in the De Barron Oldenburg Triathlon Race. Liam came 2nd in his age group and 4th overall out of 151 male athletes. Avuzwa came 3rd in Supersprint.
Luke Moore won the regional A-division for the Champion of Champions and will now be playing in the National Championships at Peacon Wood.

Danica Hansen, who recently received a Merit for her Advanced 2 RAD Ballet exam, has been cast as the lead (shared with Josi Arnold from Clarendon) in this week’s CDA production of ‘Cinderella’ in the Guild Theatre. She has the exciting opportunity of dancing with Revil Yon, Principal Dancer at Joburg Ballet and one of SA’s leading professional ballet dancers. Good to see another Stirling student in the role - in 2016 Ms Harrison, who has returned as a Maths teacher, danced the lead part of Cinderella too! There are an additional 8 Stirling students in this year’s production.
