One of the easiest ways to raise awareness is to post on social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Sharing your personal experience with breast implants publically is not always easy, however, you might be able to help another woman that might be suffering. Follow-up with your doctors and healthcare professionals

Take time to follow-up with your implanting surgeon, explanting surgeon, and other healthcare professionals. Let them know how your health has changed and tell them specifically what symptoms have been relieved and which still remain. Write a letter or an email that states your health has changed and tell them specifically what symptoms. This update should be placed in your medical chart. It is our patient responsibility to update our doctors on changes in our health. You can also attach some of the following documents and articles so that your doctors are aware of the recent events involving breast implant safety.
