Banting Meal Prep! So sis is on a weight loss journey! I’m turning 30 this year and I really wanna gift myself with a great body and great health. Ever since I’ve known me I’ve had probably the worst eating habits 😂😖 and the older I get the more I realise that there’s actually nothing cute about stuffing myself with junk and unhealthy foods. Which has now brought me here 💃 and I must say I’m quite excited for this journey 😭🥺❤️

has made it sooooo much easier 😭 cause as I chef I love my seasoning and spices and I absolutely hate bland food! So eating healthy while adding flavour has made things 10 times better and more exciting for me!

I can’t wait to see the results of my no sugar and low carb diet!

This is my second week of Banting and I must say loosing the sugar cravings poses to be the hardest challenge yet! Don’t even get me started in my cravings for a cold Savanna cider! But because we’re on a mission here! One has no choice but to keep it moving and eat right in order to get my body goals! I’ve been consuming water for the past week and now this week I’ve decided to add on this ice tea!

I won’t lie I enjoy the taste! I infused it it’s fresh fruit and herbs just to jussshhh it and to add flavour! This is what I came up with! Try it you’ll love it ❤️

I served the Mussels in a white wine veloute sauce with ciabatta as a starter

Lamb rack with parmesan garlic mash & veg with a red wine jus and a balsamic glaze

Then we ended the night with malva pudding and ice cream.

We made it to school and back in one piece! Being a big mom to 2 boys with an age gap of 7 years means putting in extra effort and just trying to make it through the Jurassic Park household without loosing my precious mind!
