FDC 2016

What does 2016 have in store for the communities its serves? Many are already asking that question...

-Firstly, 2015 is not over yet! Learners are busy with exams, and --FDC has once again made learning and study possible to everyone:

-FDC has made a provision for those who need a feasible place for study.
-Some are spending nights at the FDC in group studies.
-Study Material (dvd's, pervious exam papers and examplers, etc) have been provided for everyone.
-Light refreshments have been provided to learners as they spent nights studying there.
-Thanks to all those who partnered with FDC to ensure there is something to eat for the learners.

Secondly, for 2015:

On Art:

There will be a professional Drama/theatre trainer and producer from Johannesburg to assist and work on a drama with our youth...young people must get ready for this.

On Educative Sport:

We are going to have a chess club. Please register with Sylvester Matjeke and Wiliam Motau if interested. This will start as soon as the exams are over. No need to give yourself to meaningless activities

On Health:

We will have some great advices/guidance on how to live right and avoid premature death and disabilities via Health Talk. Mrs G Magongwa has a lot in store for us. Thus will benefit elderly people as well. Please inform your grannies and siblings. And feel free to contact Mrs Magongwa for more information regarding this

On Technology:

Computer skills is no longer a optional but compulsory if you are serious about your career, any career. Dont miss free computer lessons coming soon in this December. Please contact Neo Malete or Thoriso Mashishi for more information and for booking.

On kids:

A massive retreat for our kids is being organised by our team. This will be one of its own, and kids from our community will never forget this one. Please encourage these kids to come and make friends with purpose-driven kids. Tshamahansi, Magongwa, Msombani, Masodi, etc. will be changed for better with these kids - only if we can give them some support to engage in purposeful activities. Liaise with Moses Baloyi for more info regarding this retreat...

FDC is the place where purpose is realized, and people reconnect with their dreams...

Opening Address By The Chairperson

Who are we?
Folang Drop In Centre (FDC) is a registered Non Profit Making Organization, Currently based in Tshamahansi, Mokopane. The organization was established in 2012 when the need for academic support was identified within the community of Tshamahansi. Number of learners have already benefitted from the organization in terms of study guides, extra books, video materials, study support, career guidance, etc.

The organization is currently operating within the premises of the Healing Ministry Church (HMC) in Tshamahansi, Mosesani Section, Mokopane.

Over the past two years this has grown to affect many lives of young people from within Tshamahansi and neighboring villages such as Msombana, Masodi, Ga Magongoa, Ga Matshikiri, Molekane, etc.

So far the organization has successfully hosted number of events i.e. career exhibition/workshops with professionals from UNISA Student Counseling, SAQA, Khothedi Life Coaching, Capricorn FET College, and other Professionals.

To build a community that is driven by PURPOSE!

Our Mission
FDC aims to empower the lives of young people with information/knowledge so that they can have courage to pursue their dreams and find wisdom to overcome 'enemies' of Destiny. The following initiatives have been established to achieve our Vision:
