Hectic day. Removal of bees from a Pine that was leaning dangerously towards the road. Bees removed safely and tree cut down . Not even the rain prevented us from keeping the motorists safe. Thank you guys.
Doing our bit to restore the natural flow of rivers. We all have to help to protect our ecosystems, we only have one earth.
Stocking up on the firewood for the long winter of 2024. We do not want to sell soaking wet wood to our customers. Happy customers are your best advert.
Busy morning removing dangerous (alien Blackwood) trees close to a house. The gushing winds and heavy rains are creating dangerous conditions for home owners. Trees removed are replaced with indigenous trees.
The heavy rains of the past few days made the ground water-logged and very soft. Last nites gushing winds toppled an almost 100 year old Gum tree which fell over the road and causing no motorist to enter or leave the Montagu pass area. Our team helped to clear the road so people are not cut off from the outside world during the coming storms.
Our work takes us all over the Garden Route. Today we met with the forestry veterans of Buffelsnek forestry village between Knysna and Uniondale. These guys are a treasure trove of forestry wisdom that you won't find in any book.
Another happy customer. No more sleepless nights during windy or rainy days. No more trees posing a danger to property or lives.
After 3 months hard work, the Doringrivier behind Herold Meander farm was cleared of all alien plant and tree species. The rehabilitation and planting of indigenous plants and trees will start soon. Doing our bit to return the rivers in our areas to their natural state.

Clearing trees for a new fence that has to be put up. Job done in 3 days. Thank you guys
The past 2 days we completed one of our most dangerous assignments to date. We had to cut down 3 HUGE Eucalyptus which were growing next to Eskom and George municipality power lines. There is no substitute for highly skilled and fully equipped personnel.
PS! If a mistake was made, George and towns all along the coast would have been without electricity for a few days!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alien clearing and harvesting of trees is much more than just cutting everything down. It is also about re-establishing indigenous plant/tree species but more importantly to protect endangered plant species on the specific sites we working on. Here we are protecting the highly endangered Disa Procera which occurs in the Sedgefield area.
The recent fire in George(Groenkloof) burnt this old majestic Pine and it slowly started to die. It posed a great risk to the inhabitants and had to be cut down. It is always sad to cut down these old trees if they were part of a family's growing up years. This tree was more than 75 years old. We were able to save the remaining plants/trees during the felling process.
Today we planted our last indigenous trees at the Garden Route dam. A total of 26 trees were planted to replace the rotten and burnt Pine that was harvested. We planted Cape Ash, Water Pear and Wild Peach trees.
Hectic day at Garden Route Dam to clear burnt and rotten Pine. This was done to re-establish indigenous trees but also to protect people who are walking, jogging and cycling at the dam. More indigenous trees will be planted during arbor month. All trees were cut down and removed and site left in a better condition than before. We are surely proud of our work.
Our company today planted different indigenous trees at the Garden Route dam in George. This is in an effort to re-establish the natural tree species that used to grow there.

Our first international client. Clearing a plot in Wilderness for the UK owner. At least they can now see the lakes and beach.
Due to the high fire risk in the Garden Route,we empower small companies by giving them free firewood. They have free access to all the Eucalyptus,Black Wattle and Black wood we cut down. Through this small gesture, much needed job opportunities are created. It surely is HARD work to make firewood!!!!
