• You must have writing screen credits for TV work.
• You must have experience in script editing, training, and working in a writers’ room.
• Loadshedding resilience: South Africa’s unique challenges include load shedding. You must be equipped to handle disruptions and continue your work even during power outages.
• Availability: You must be available for the project and commit firmly.
• Data Connectivity: You must have reliable data connections to communicate and collaborate effectively.
• Applications are open to both WGSA members and non-members. However, successful candidates will be required to become a WGSA member. Arrangements can be made to have the fees deducted from your stipend.

Successful applicants will receive a stipend of R16,000.00 for the project.

Earlier this month, the NFVF announced a partnership with Netflix that will be funding 6 locally produced micro-budget films. The call officially opens today and we encourage emerging filmmakers to take advantage of this amazing opportunity.
