The Bowie Pump is a rotary gear pump. The delivery rate will vary some with the differential pressure and the viscosity of the liquid. Bowie Pumps operate either clockwise or counterclockwise with equal efficiency.

We at Cyclone Industries have successfully installed and commissioned a new Kral triple screw pump for our client Eskom. Working closely with the Eskom technical team, we efficiently executed a challenging on-site installation.

Rigorous testing verified the pump meets operational targets. We are grateful to Eskom for their trust and collaboration. This upgrade stands to boost efficiency and sustainability through many years of reliable performance. It was a privilege working with the Eskom team to bring this complex project to fruition.

Self-priming Pumps

100mm Self-priming pump line-ups rated at 100m³/hr at a total head of 40 meters.

The pump pumps which are fitted with semi-open impellers and are capable of passing 28mm solids. In order to achieve the flow rate and discharge head a speed of 1750RPM via a suitable Vee belt drive, will be required with a shaft power of 17.95kW.

We provide our clients with a non-overloading fitted power of 22kW which ensures that the pump cannot overload the fitted electric motor.

This particular client required that the base plate be galvanized for corrosion purposes
