The 100MW Redstone CSP plant has achieved grid connection!

Part of Sub-Saharan Africa's first Concentrated Solar Plant, the 248-meter tower and it’s almost 40,000 heliostats are expected to generate approximately 480 GWh of electricity annually - enough to power 200,000 South African households.

It has been a privilege to be so closely involved in this project over the years. Following the de-establishing of our dedicated site lab for this project, we are now only performing on-site testing, sampling and laboratory testing as required.

Congratulations to ACWA Power, our own teams in the Northern Cape and all those who have worked so diligently to achieve this incredible milestone for South Africa!
