Picked up this unusual record yesterday, a UK 1982 EP featuring 4 hits from the Michael Jackson album 'Off the wall'.

Chart positions of the original singles in the UK, US & SA. (In SA, 'She's out of my life' was released, but didn't chart; 'Rock with you' doesn't appear to have been released on 7".)

Attended our first Record Store Day, on 20 April 2024, at the local independent record store in Bath, UK, and picked up these exclusive limited edition releases.

2 Black Sabbath - 'Paranoid' red & black splatter limited edition vinyl
3 Daft Punk - 'Something about us' 12" single
4 David Bowie - 'Waiting in the sky'
5 Maisie Peters - 'The good witch' (Deluxe edition) picture disc
6 Noah Kahan - 'I was/I am' blue translucent vinyl
7 Olivia Rodrigo & Noah Kahan - 'Stick Season' coloured vinyl
8 Queen - 'Cool cat' pink vinyl

The David Bowie album is taken from tapes dated December 1971, for the then track listing of 'The rise and fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars', and featuring 4 songs that didn't make the final album. Half speed master.

The Beatles - Now and then
Picked up some copies of The Beatles' new single 'Now and then' in the UK. In the UK, it's now their 18th no. 1 single. It sold 19,4k copies on vinyl in its first week (various 7" editions and a 12" single). It was also released on CD single, and a limited edition cassette single.
Pictured here are the 7" blue vinyl, 7" clear vinyl, 7" black vinyl, front and back of sleeve, front and back of insert, and both sides of the record.
'Now and then' is on the Apple label, while 'Love me do' is on the Parlophone label. Interesting to have 2 different labels on the same single.
The final pic is of the CD single, which comes in a card sleeve.

We will have some selected stock at our stall at The Shongweni Farmers & Craft Market the first Saturday in December.

Picked up this 12" single in great condition...
Michael Jackson - P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing), UK 12" single. Released in 1984 as the 6th single from the album 'Thriller'. The single sold 4 million copies worldwide, reaching no. 10 in the US, and no. 11 in the UK. The song was written by James Ingram and Quincy Jones.
