The festive season is upon us and what better way to get into the spirit than markets?

The Midlands Market Christmas Edition will take place on Sunday, 3 December from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Groves in Caversham Valley.

The market is a fundraising initiative of Love Howick, striving towards economic and tourism development. Grab some delicious eats and treats here. There will also be live music, Christmas carols, and a Christmas tree, with talks of Father Christmas also visiting (and not empty-handed)!

HAVE YOU SEEN THESE ELVES? Reward offered!

The public is warned to be careful and not approach these two rebellious imps.
They are WANTED for the very serious offence of putting itching power in Santa’s Socks! If you see these naughty elves, DO NOT approach, as things might get itchy!
Known for causing chaos wherever they go, these two are quick on their feet and have been spotted in multiple locations across Howick.

The public is being asked to report all sightings they have of these silly sock wreckers!

Wedgewood Confectionary has joined the elf hunt.

The swift apprehension of these two elves is of critical importance, as there is a very real possibility, that with their running away from Santa’s Workshop at this time of year, production levels could dip and result in a delay of the sleigh on Christmas Eve.

Authorities said they had uncovered clues as to the location of the mischievous munchkin.

Apparently, the have been sighted dancing in steam, swinging from a jungle gym and creating quite a foamy froth. The two have created a legacy of trouble and turmoil, often leaving those they encounter staring blankly into their lattes wondering if things could ever be the same at the White House again!
