We are Kuhlesibonge Day Care and we work hard to provide awareness and support to inspire our pre-schoolers to be passionate lifelong learners through a curriculum with integrity, which allows them to always inquire, innovate, and contribute in meaningful ways to society.

The pandemic resulted in a devastating level of economic and social poverty. Parents lost their jobs, Pre-schools stopped operating.This resulted in children roaming in the streets. It was an eyesore sight to see the little ones flooding the streets, as it is well known that the streets are a dangerous place. We then saw it fit to play a role in shaping the them to be better members of the society. The pre-school plays a major role in laying a strong academic foundation. The Future lies in their tiny hands. As it said that Readers today are Leaders tomorrow.

In the past, we have hosted a number of programmes that have helped both our pre-schoolers and community. One of the events took place on the 18th of July 2022. We partook in the 67 minutes for Mandela program, where our pre-schoolers took it upon themselves to clean the community we live in. The pre-schoolers where then taken for treats in Jewel City as a form of reward for their hard work. This came as a lesson to them that one has to work hard for a living.We hope to break our own records this year with our new upcoming events.

Energy is needed for teaching and learning to take place. It is a well known fact that no child can concentrate on an empty stomach. Healthy food is a basic necessity for a healthy mins as it contains nutrients that are important for growth, development and learning.

We would also appreciate any form of learning materials or toys because as we all know children learn through play.
