Today is World Literacy Day.

The Blue Nation celebrates this every Wednesday as 'Knowledge day' as dubbed by Inkosi Yomoya.

At TDK we promote literacy and a culture of reading as we understand that knowledge is the best investment for the future.

Literacy development is the process of learning words, sounds, and language. Children develop literacy skills in order to learn to read and write confidently and eventually improve their communication skills overall.

Children who have developed strong reading skills perform better in school and have a healthier self-image. They become lifelong learners and sought-after employees.

At TDKC we groom our students to be confident in expressing themselves and have a rich vocabulary. We have a variety of books published by Imboni Dr Uzwi-Lezwe that focuses on children - our latest book offering "Savings & Entrepreneurship" talks about the personal experience of Imboni's financial journey as young Samuel.
