Civil Aviation Industry Awards 2019
The 2019 Civil Aviation Industry Awards are held each year to celebrate and acknowledge the dedication of companies and individuals who make significant contributions to the safety of air travel. The selections follow rigorous evaluation of submitted nominations in multiple categories by a panel of international aviation experts. was honoured with a nomination in the Civil Aviation Award for the SatAuth Communications Platform (GCP), one of five finalists recognised out of 11 nominations. At the very prestigious function hosted by the on the 13th December 2019, SatAuth was extremely proud to be awarded the overall category winner of the Aviation Innovation Award for the SatAuth GCP an ICAO GADSS ADT device, following 1000’s of hours of testing on commercial aircraft, by their dedicated team. Paul Roux was bestowed the honour of accepting this award on behalf of the entire SatAuth team, with support from Ms Poppy Khoza DCA and Mr Simon Segwabe of the SACAA. Every time an aircraft takes off, the lives of the people on that flight are in the hands of aviation professionals. Their dedication to their work and to the people they serve on a daily basis does both the state authority and their country proud.
