The British preacher Alan Redpath once said, "It is possible to have a saved soul and a lost life." In other words, it is possible to be saved and forgiven of one's sin but to waste one's life by not serving the Lord. That is what Paul warned the Corinthians about in 1 Corinthians 3:10-15. Here Paul describes another judgment - besides the Great White Throne Judgment - specifically for believers. You might call it the Christian's award ceremony. Yet it won't be like any awards ceremony on earth. There the quality of our work for the Lord will be tested, as well as our motives for doing it. Our reward will reflect what we have or haven't done with the talents and abilities God has given us.
One day you are going to stand before Jesus. When you do, you want to be welcomed into the arms of Jesus and hear him say, "Well done, my good and faithful servant" (Matthew 25:21). Be an "expert builder." Take the gifts and abilities God has given you - however insignificant they may seem to you - and use them for his glory. Then you will have a saved soul and an abundant life.

God continues to do even more amazing things in my life. I'm grateful that the Lord has brought me this far in my life. I'm grateful for my family, the roof over my head, my church family, a job that allows me to put food on the table, and my new record deal at Jhey-Dot Inc. But most of all, that the Lord has given me new purpose, when He helped me to discover the Juubi (the living Word of God), and as a result, He changed my name from Gumbino to Juubino. However, all of this means nothing, if I do not have love.

I'm bringing the Juubi ✉️ with me.
