My years of experience as a florist is coming in handy. Flowers for the back of an envelope for wedding invitations. It will be finished off with a gold wax seal.

The jute cord doesn't look or feel hard but after tieing 275 knots I had tender fingers and a blister. Mark & Hendry you chose well when you opted for the seed paper thank you tags. Your wedding guests will enjoy watching the seeds germinate, sprout and grow into basil, thyme and oregano plants and have fond memories of your wedding day when they use fresh herbs while preparing meals.

These mini bottles of blue gum honey as gifts for wedding guests turned out looking really cute. The gift tag is from herb seed paper which can be planted. My thanks to Sonja from Sonja's Pure Honey and Growing Paper for supplying the honey and seed tag. Cards of Distinction wishes Mark and Hendry an awesome wedding day on Saturday 27th March 2024.

I ordered herb seed paper tags from Growing Paper in Malmesbury for a wedding which was couriered via Aramex on 28 February for 2 - 3 days delivery. At times neither Growing Paper or I could track the parcel as it did not reflect on their system. There was no answer from the call centre - the phone rang till it eventually cut out and no emergency phone number on the website. On Thursday I managed to reach the call centre and was promised delivery the following day which did not happen. My gratitude towards Douglas (a sales rep) at Aramex for coming to the rescue. His calm efficiency saved the day and delivery was done after 20:00 on Monday. Douglas you are shining star and example of what service should be.

Cards of Distinction received an anxious call from the bride's friend requesting our urgent assistance to print wedding programs after being let down by their printer. We are happy to say we delivered within the deadline of 24 hours. This would not have been possible without Madelein from Infinity Design & Print's excellent and prompt service. We wish Zuko and Zozuko a happy marriage.

Cards of Distinction was "wowed" by receiving a special order for gift tags from a young lady in Nelspruit. What a privilege it was to create these unique hand crafted cards for her which will be couriered today.

During the course of the month, Cards of Distinction received a huge donation of card making items from a member at the Greydene Church community. It was such a welcome surprise and we will make use of every item you so kindly donated. With that being said, it was our great pleasure and privilege to give back to the community by donating handmade unique book marks (using of the donated materials) for their year end function for their senior citizens. We hope you enjoy the book marks as much as we enjoyed creating them for you.

Unless the brief for a card is expIicit I try to do some homework on the recipient to ensure the card is extra special by incorporating something close to their heart. In this case it was proteas. I enjoyed crafting this card with the hand stamped and embossed protea background.

A very much loved little girl celebrated her first birthday and granny wanted a card with photos of memorable moments. I made a card with the number 1 as a shaker and 26 photos in book form. As the card was quite bulky I made a gift bag with balloons for an envelope.

A father said to his daughter “You have graduated with honors, here is a Jeep I bought many years ago. It is pretty old now. But before I give it to you, take it to the used car lot downtown and tell them I want to sell it and see how much they offer you for it.”

The daughter went to the used car lot, returned to her father and said, “They offered me $1,000 because they said it looks pretty worn out.” The father said, now “Take it to the pawn shop.”
