A key question is: Who pays for all of this?

💡We think that those driving the climate crisis should!

⚠️ REPORT FINDING: Nearly half of the second-hand clothes arriving in Ghana are unfit for resale, and the majority of these end up as waste, exacerbating our environmental crisis.

The Ghanaian government would do well to invest in local fashion solutions that protect the economic rights of its citizens.

Taking a gamble on the second-hand clothes trade SHOULD NOT be the only option available to us!

We are calling for responsible fashion.

Brands and regulators in the Global North MUST be legally responsible for all emissions and waste throughout the life cycle of the clothing they produce.

Climate defenders everywhere are being penalised for trying to protect the planet, when the true culprits are profiting from people’s suffering.

Double standards and hypocrisy are destroying our planet.

When did conservation become an excuse to evict entire communities for corporate gain?

The Maasai deserve justice not eviction.
