It's taken me a couple of days to sit down and write this post and it will be a long one but for a good reason. It all still seems rather surreal. The last time I raced a full season of national karting was way back in 2007. This time we walked away with the overall championship win!!! You will see i say we multiple times there and that's because it was a massive team effort. Starting with the faith and belief Fidge Roos has put behind me over the past couple of years to restart in the karting industry, without him I never would have been in this position and I will never be able to repay the level of support, guidance and utter belief in me. Neil Smith Jamie Smith and Carla you guys have been absolutely amazing, I had no kart or even the prospect of getting back behind the wheel, your support of Kabuki Motorsport started with the supply of karts and parts for the team at a level I had never experienced in karting, you then got me back in the seat in the FKR kz series. We made the jump together to dd2 masters and no matter what you made sure I had the best possible equipment throughout the year and even when I struggled with pace you guys were always backing me. That's is why the trophy will live at your premises because you worked just as hard as I did for this. Victron Energy Southern Africa Victron Energy B.V. Gerrit Tromp you have been absolutely amazing, making sure I was kitted out for the final round and backing me financially throughout 2023, making me your Motorsport ambassador fills me with pride and I am ecstatic I could return your faith with a national championship. Gerrit you have been available day and night and pushed so hard for me to ensure we had what we needed to race. Motorsport Fanatix your coverage of my season was impeccable and I really do believe you are the Motorsport press guru. Tau Energy Drink Indigo - Health and Sport Supplements your products have been invaluable through 2023, using them everyday has made huge positive effect on my performance and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you I cannot say it enough!! Liv Lawrence you helped me dig deep when I thought I had nothing left I'm so glad we got to share the podium.

Round 2 of the 23/24 season is fast approaching! wouldn't you want to be in the team that walked away with a win in seniors and p2 overall in Juniors in round one?

Taylin Patel finishing overall 4th in the tightly contested mini max class, with
Luhan de Wet taken a stellar first place overall in the Bambino class.

Congrats to you young Luhan on a well deserved podium this past weekend. More work to do from our side, congratulations to the winners we will see you all in two weeks time, same place.

As always we built the motor but dad, NBR and driver Luhan did the rest.

P1 at our first national back in bambino's, Luan you drove like a star and Sharl Dewet it's such a pleasure to work with a dad that has so much passion for his racing.

Mini rok under 10 - P3

Now to prep for Round 1 of the rotax national rnd 1 in idube.

It's been a while but it was good to build another oval maxterino.

Snr Max engine complete low hours bought new 2022, engine is complete. R38 000

2x mini rok engines, 1 complete and 1 complete excluding wiring, R18 000 and R15 000 respectively both motors are extremely competitive and ran on the podium.

Base Honda gx390, newly rebuilt for f400 with new rings, rod and crank precut for clutch. R7000.00 sold as is

Ben gibhard our Bumblebee bee powered bambino had a great day competing for 3rd overall for the day and showing massive improvements but unfortunately a crash in the last heat took away his chances of a 3rd for the day but 4th aint that bad, we keep pushing forward to our next event in December

In mini rok We came, we saw, we qualified really well (4th and 6th) but we crashed 😔 however and most importantly we learnt and we will be back testing for 2023 !!!
