The Kingdom of Eswatini (formerly known as Swaziland) has made progress in global trade through various initiatives. Eswatini is a member of several regional and international trade agreements, such as the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA). These agreements aim to promote regional integration, reduce trade barriers, and foster economic cooperation among member states.Eswatini has been actively involved in pursuing trade liberalization and diversification of its export markets. The country has been working on expanding its export base beyond traditional sectors like sugar and textiles, exploring opportunities in areas such as agribusiness, manufacturing, and services.Additionally, Eswatini has been engaged in bilateral and multilateral trade negotiations to enhance market access and improve trade relations with other countries.
