❌ I really did step out of my comfort zone with this Louis Vuitton cut... Hair tattoos have never really been my strong suit and this was definitely the most challenging hair cut I've done to date! It even took me two attempts! I did both cut and colour for .. Only for my idea to not work out how I planned.. I honestly felt so frustrated and defeated but I did not spend almost 7 hours to just give up 🙃 we waited a week for it to grow out a little... Did a different toner.. Redid the line work and got a better result that I was much happier with! Thank you for your patience and for giving me free reign on your hair Ash❤️ you're a trooper girl

- I was speaking to a client the other day about the difference hair colour can make on a cut 😊.. If you have really light hair and don't like your scalp to show its best to never cut shorter than a #2 /3 on the sides... It just always looks shorter than what it actually is... When your hair is darker it has better scalp coverage and so looks longer and thicker... That being said if you want a fade to show nicely on light hair you need to make sure your fade transition is more extreme than on darker hair... For example on this young lad I faded from a 0- #2.. The transition doesn't look very extreme and the fade can't be seen well... However before Kaylee coloured his hair you could see the fade really nicely because his hair was really dark, usually on blonde hair I would fade from a 0- #3 or #4... Always keep this in mind when asking your barber for a fade and hopefully all barbers out there explain this concept to their clients during the consultation 🤞🏼
