This is long overdue but now that I've settled back home I'd like to say how very much I appreciated the short time I spent with you on the 5th of July.

Everyone was so welcoming, the meals were great and the room so comfortable that I overslept!
In particular, I must say a big thank you to the two drivers who collected me from the airport and returned me the next morning. How they managed to get me there in time through the huge traffic jam I'll never know, but I'm forever grateful.

I've told all my friends who might need to spend time near the airport that Safari Club is the place to go.

The first area guests will see when entering The Safari Club, is our refreshed reception area! Guests will be greeted by Vanessa or Linda, checked in, and shown around the hotel so that they can make the most of their stay with us.

Our reception area also contains a number of locally made gifts available for purchase that are small enough to fit into your hand luggage for the trip home. Our front-of-house staff are also on hand to deal with queries and questions, as well as book your day tours and African safaris!

We love hosting guests from across the globe and while we work day in and day out to make everyone's stay a memorable one, it truly makes our day when guests take the time to post 5-star reviews!

While most of you know us for our twin rooms leading onto the garden as well as our manor suites, did you know we also have a separate family cottage?

Our family cottage is the ideal private accommodation with its own dedicated lounge and workstation! We have recently updated all the furnishings and decor, making this a supremely comfortable and beautiful space where you can relax with your family or friends before the start of your African getaway. Enjoy your drinks and meals in the comfort of your own home away from home!

Two separate bedrooms with twin beds offer their own dedicated television sets as well as high-speed Wifi so you can catch up with friends and family back home.

We look forward to hosting you, and we know you'll feel right at home even if you're thousands of miles away from home!

The majority of what you see in The Safari Club is locally sourced from small artisans in South Africa and while larger items around the club are not suitable to purchase and take back home (Our clothing rails are not hand-luggage friendly), we do have smaller items that easily fit into a handbag or backpack!

Our earrings, books, fridge magnets, paintings, and much more have been so popular over the years and we're proud to introduce our new range of mosaics, custom-made for us in the Western Cape!

Pauline takes great care in the crafting of each piece, and due to the intricate and technical nature of mosaics, each piece takes 3-4 days to complete and no one piece will ever be the same again. We're excited to be turning African wildlife into art that is timeless and refreshing in what is increasingly a digital lead world.

Our mosaic range is now available to browse and purchase at our hotel reception area! Oh and...there are also more to come soon 😊

We take great care and pride in maintaining our immaculate gardens which most of our rooms view onto. Our gardens are a big hit amongst bird watchers traveling through. Thanks to Cynthia for the 5 star review!

"Really nice rooms, very pleasant gardens and incredibly gracious hosts

I spent two nights here before a bird-watching tour and really enjoyed seeing the birds in the gardens. They have several feeders which they kept stocked and there were lots of finches, windows birds, and weavers coming to them. The owner arranged a birding outing for our group the day before the official tour started."

this is where it all began and where it sadly finishes.
This place set the standard from the off so welcoming and wanting the very best for us.

The boys have enjoyed their time in the pool and as you see from the pictures this place is just as beautiful at night as during the day.
