Woodmill Lane Shopping Centre is one of our local Knysna shopping centers. We here at the Knysna Country House **** put (full) water bottles in all our toilet canisters, just to reduce the volume of water which can be flushed. It's great seeing everybody is doing their bit to !

Thumb's up to Woodmill Lane for encouraging water-saving with this sign in their ladies' loo. Interrupting the flush by lifting the handle swiftly can save up to 7 liters of water per flush!!

In a concerted effort by our Knysna Municipality to support KnysnaRises and make sure the of will be greener and more sustainable than ever before, it only made sense for our staff to choose green shirts. Showing off their new shirts on are Ypie, Toesie and Shireen. Dot, Sandy and Frank have the day off / were not there. Erik took the picture. Tara and Meka are always supporting whatever we do....

We're grateful for our guests who are not using their bath at all, but rather take (short :)) showers. And even then there is a bucket in the shower so you can save the water and use it to flush the toilet.

Thanks to all who make this the new norm, much appreciated!
