Marloth Park offers excellent lodges and houses that provide luxury accommodation amidst wildlife, allowing guests to experience the bushveld up close.

Our favourite by far is Baobab Marloth Park!

This house provide an immersive wildlife experience with luxurious amenities, ensuring a memorable stay.

Guests can enjoy bush walks and bird watching. The house is known for its serene setting because of frequent sightings of zebras, kudu, impala and various antelope species roaming freely around the house.

The house has 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a pool, boma, a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor dining area.

Little detail like a welcoming milktart and fresh fruit just added to it’s unique style and the hospitality of the owners.

Dear Marloth Park residents, property owners, holiday home owners, and visitors.

Being in the privileged position to be situated right next to the majestic Kruger National Park is nothing short of magical, however, it also means that residents and visitors alike, need to be extra vigilant at all times.

Walking around early mornings before the sun is high enough to light the sky, and late afternoons when the sun is on its way down, is not advisable at all as we encounter predators from time to time here in Marloth Park.

During the winter months, the sun sets fairly early, and it happens in the blink of an eye, so please don't underestimate how quickly it can get pitch black.

As I am writing this, I can hear the roar of a lion, not too far from where I am. Is the lion in Marloth Park? I don't know.😳It might as well be.

It is vital to note that Lions cross the fences between Marloth Park and the Kruger more often than we realize, and they might even be walking around in Marloth Park undetected!🤗 Don't wait for a "predator warning" to be cautious.

*Always treat your surroundings as if there could be a dangerous predator lurking about.*

We have several leopards roaming around in Marloth, and just because we don't see them every day does not mean they are not here.

Please be safe. *Walking around in Marloth Park between sunset and sunrise is NOT PERMITTED.*

This applies to everyone, children, adults, elderly, joggers, cyclists, and the like.

WELCOME TO MARLOTH PARK, HOPE YOU WILL THOROUGHLY ENJOY YOUR STAY!!!

• No walking in Marloth between sunset and sunrise. Predators do roam at night and we do not have the resources to come out and scare lions, leopard or hyena away from you. Your body parts will be shipped to your next of kin; that is if we can find any.
• No loud noise (including music, fireworks, etc.) The accomodation/house is not your local night club where you are able to dance like a frog in a blender and try and be an idol, your neighbours do not want to be part of your conversations either, or party.
• No spotlight, whether used from a vehicle or from the property, people might think you are security and get you to patrol for the rest of the night. Drones are also strictly forbidden, we don’t want to be on the map for UFO sightings in South Africa. We will confiscate it.
• No littering whatsoever, if found, we will dump all Marloth’s rubbish for the day in your garden or car and watch you clean up.
• No speeding – speed limit on tar roads is 50km/hour & on sand roads it's 30km/hour, we are not Kyalami race track, our animals are more important to us. No Quad bikes’ or off road bikes whatsoever to be operated within Marloth Park.
• No pets of any description allowed into Marloth Park, you will not be allowed entry through the gates, if caught, we will ask you to leave.
• No cutting down or trimming of any vegetation, especially trees, the two shopping centers in Marloth have more than enough wood for you to purchase for your braai.
• When out at your braai/swimming pool area, please lock your car, the front door and close windows, criminals will want to ruin your day. Put your valuables in a safe hiding place out of the eye of an opportunist.
• Close all windows, lock doors and arm the alarm when you are not at your accommodation, baboons and vervets tend to party really hard if they get into a house, they have not been trained to be tidy, you will be left with the mess.
You are in South Africa, criminals also roam our community, be vigilant at all times.
• Observe all rules of the road while driving in Marloth Park, especially the following:
• No passengers allowed on the tailgate of any vehicle, you might get home and find a passenger missing!
• No unlicensed and/or under-age drivers, Marloth is not a driving school.
• No drinking and driving, the back of a police van will be your new ride.
• PLEASE ensure your fire is completely out when you are finished at your braai/bonfire, burning down your house or your neighbour's to get attention is not a good idea as you will have to serve water/juice to the fire team, then beers after the fire is out.

🥵*HEATWAVE ALERT!!*🥵

From the Wild and Free Team:

We are currently going through a heatwave, the animals are struggling.

Could we please ask you a favour - please put out a shallow bowl of water for our small reptiles, birds and mammals.

Make sure watering holes for the larger animals are also filled.

We have been called out for many smaller animals that are suffering due to dehydration with the last heatwave.

This is the least we can do for our little neighbours until the heat subsides

If you find an animal that looks lethargic please do not try and hand feed water.

It is very easy to drown them. If they can drink on their own, put fresh water down and keep a close eye on them.

If their condition doesn't improve move the animal to a cool dark place and phone your closest Wildlife Rehab Centre immediately!
