An opportunity has opened up to join the NAC family in our CAMO department at Rand Airport.

Position : Maintenance Planner
Department : CAMO
Location : Rand Airport
Reporting To : Manager CAMO

Please note that we will be considering internal and external applications for this position.

KPA’s (Key Performance Areas):

a. Generation of work packs for aircraft in accordance with the approved SA CAA AMP and/or aircraft Maintenance Manual ensuring the following is included:
• Scheduled task cards.
• Unscheduled task cards.
• Components due.
• AD’s and/or SB’s due.

b. Logbook research. (AD’s, SB’s, work performed, components, special requirements) to generate work pack where necessary.

c. Updating of aircraft logbooks.

d. Assist with queries regarding scheduled maintenance.

e. Assist with research on new aircraft.

f. Updating check forecast bi-weekly and distribution of same.

g. Updating major module forecast bi-weekly and distribution of same.

h. Liaising with the Manager CAMO before schedule is distributed to ensure correctness of data.

i. Updating Flight Folios.

j. Compiling and submitting of C of A renewals.

k. Assist with CAA audits for import / export C of A inspections.

Requirements:
• SA Citizen Matric / Grade 12.
• At least 3 years’ Experience as a Maintenance Planner or Assistant on Piston Aircraft and/or Rotor Wing
• Maintenance Planner Certificate beneficial.
• CATS & CARS Certificate beneficial.
• Knowledge of SACAA Regulations essential.
• Analytical (Ability to analyse and implement maintenance program requirements.)
• Computer literate.
• Must be able to work accurately and independently.
• Patient, Motivated and a team player.
• Own Reliable Transport.
• Be available to work outside of normal office hours on short notice.
