Available Position: Office/Admin Clerk
Requirements:
Grade 12
2 – 3 years’ administrative experience will be beneficial
Proven verbal and written communication skills (Bilingualism)
Executing administrative functions
Computer literate in MS Office, with Excel on an intermediate level of competence
Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities are essential
Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
Display good product knowledge
Demonstrate a high ability to plan and organize dispatch activities
Strong inter- and intra-personal skills.
Good administrative skills
Demonstrate the ability to perform under pressure
Ability to action tasks spontaneously without being urged on to do so.
Active team player
Ability to deal with conflict with a problem-solving approach.

Financial Accountant – Job Description
1. Accurate, valid & complete financial records
• Prepare and process standard & ad hoc journals
• Ensure all expenses are captured accurately before the end of the month and are in line with budget
• Administer Syspro to ensure that expenses are accounted for appropriately
• Update and reconcile Fixed Asset register
• Control accounts clearing: Credit notes, GRNs, Consignment, etc
• GL integrations on Sage One (Pastel)
• Oversee Debtors & Creditors
• Manage external auditors
2. Internal controls
• Ensure internal procedures are abide to ensure that all Internal Controls operate effectively
• Conduct regular Risk Assessments to ensure internal controls are adequate and address all potential Risk areas by implementing compensating internal controls
• Review of monthly / weekly payments to ensure all payment are valid and authorized
3. Month-End reporting
• Analyze expenses to ensure that all accruals have been accounted for and previous month’s reversed
• Manage Inventory Month ends by ensuring accurate and complete stock takes for all inventory items
• Ensure that all Balance Sheet items are correctly valued at month end
• Prepare month-end recons & reports
4. Compliance
• Ensure VAT is accurately accounted for and submission to SARS
• Preparation and submission of employee taxes
• STATSSA reporting
5. Projects
• Assist all relevant departments / branches timeously financial assistance on an ongoing basis
• Monitor expenses and prepare regular expense report for departments
• Coaching & assist the finance team with accounting problems and queries
Person Specification / Main Competencies
• Must fit the Vision and Values Culture of company
• Functional Skills and Technical Ability & Experience
• At least 3 years’ experience – preferably in a related industry- Degree in Finance
• Computer literacy – Excel / Syspro (advantageous) / Fraction / MS Word / Power Point
• Preferably B.Com degree
