A fortnight ago hosted their annual awards for 2023. I couldn't make it to this special evening due to other commitments. So happy to have once again scooped a couple of awards .

4. Big 5 award - For running 5 standards across 5 different distance.

When it came to creating the new Cielo X1, we kept our foot on the gas pedal and eliminated anything that didn’t enhance the ride. Designed with dynamic cutouts for weight savings, this ultra-fast road racer features a winged carbon fibre plate sandwiched between two layers of resilient PEBA foam. Sporting a speed-centric rocker shape, breathable knit upper, and gusseted knit tongue, you’ll be locked and loaded for racing.

Despite all the suffering I'm happy with the result.

I'm so amazed by how my body has responded at the velocity half marathon this past monday 9 days post 100 miler.

Now we go try run a good in 8 days.

A good aid station plan can make a great race out of one that you thought about dropping out of earlier on.

In 2023, , ANELE BANS - Athlete completed the Addo Elephant 100miler Trail Run in 2nd place. A year later, Anele has become the 2024 Champion, completing the 160km distance in 26:52:47.
