We are so pleased to announce that the inaugural live pitching event of the Bio Centrifuge Competition will be taking place on Wednesday 17 July. This exclusive event will feature innovators in the health and biotechnology industry who will be presenting their ideas to an esteemed panel of judges – with the prize being an opportunity to take their pitch to a global stage in the USA.

As the first of its kind in South Africa, the competition was borne through a partnership between Eduvos, Task, Wesgro, and the BioHealth Capital Region, U.S. The pitch categories include both students and industry, and the winner of each will travel to Maryland to compete as a finalist at BioHealth’s Crab Trap competition. In addition to an all-expenses paid trip to the US, the winners will receive up to 6 months complimentary access to UVUBio labs and take part in their incubation program.

Be ready for an afternoon of innovation and creativity. The event will conclude with a cocktail hour with opportunities to network and connect with thought leaders and industry experts.
