Our team set out on this Women's Day, to join forces with key-role players, in a collective effort in combatting crime.

We focused on the boundary of Midrand & Diepsloot (Winnie Mandela Drive), as this is a known hotspot for criminals.
Overall, high visibility was conducted, as well as roadblocks.

Many Female Officers accompanied us, showing their support and the stand against crime.

Another Successful Arrest

Incident Date: 09 August 2024
Time: Approximately 05h30am
Please note that during the early hours of the morning, we received intel that one of our staff members was being robbed on his way to work in the vlei area next to Halfway House Primary School.
Swift action from Our Armed Response and Security officers led to the apprehension of the suspect, 1x Bravo Male, at Corner Van Heerden & Dornel Road.
Stolen items were also recovered and returned to the rightful owner.

This vlei/bush area next to the school is becoming notorious for common robberies. These suspects are operating in a gang and are armed and dangerous. There were many reports from local residents of being robbed in this particular area.

Today, they definitely messed with the wrong soldier.

Please remain vigilant at all times. Do not walk/run when it is dark.
Always try and walk in a group and inform us immediately of any activities out of the ordinary.

A further 2x suspects arrested in Kanana, Tembisa by SAPS.
Stolen Items recovered, as well as a Toy Gas Gun.

Suspect Apprehended - Theft of Copper Cabling/Damage to Client's Properties

Incident Date 29/7/2024

Information was received in our 24/7 Command Center, that a suspect had stolen Cables from a light pole in Vorna Valley.

Our Response Team was immediately dispatched and located the said suspect.
Upon approach, the suspect noticed the Response Officers and began to evade. The suspect was carrying a Black Plastic Bag, which he threw over a wall of a nearby house, and continued to run.

The suspect damaged Electric Fencing of a property to gain access, and from this property, began jumping in-between 5 houses in an attempt to flee.

Our Team strategically gave chase, which led to the cornering and apprehension of said suspect in a nearby complex in Vorna Valley, where he also damaged the Electric Fencing to gain entry.

Copper Cabling, Electrical Fuses, etc were found on his person as well as in the Black Bin Bag that he was carrying.

SAPS were dispatched. Suspect was thereafter handed over to SAPS.

Ria Sebetsa Security Services, in partnership with Midrand SAPS, Fidelity/ADT & CPF, went out on the 3 July morning, recovered stolen/unroadworthy motor bikes, as well as foreign nationals not having correct documentation, or fraudulent identification.

Many bikes and persons were apprehended. Bikes were transported to Midrand SAPS.

Apart from many success achieved, general visibility was conducted. Our community felt our presence.

ARMED & DANGEROUS

WANTED FOR MURDER - R100 000.00 REWARD

Wanted for murder of four people including two children aged 4 and 7 years of age respectively.

Media release below via South African Police Service -

The police in Gauteng are offering a reward of R100 000.00 to any person who can assist the police with information that can lead to the arrest and successful conviction of Dennis Nyatsunga/Ngobeni who is also known as Shumba.

Nyatsunga/Ngobeni is wanted for the murder of four people in Soshanguve/Akasia, including two girls aged four and seven who were burned inside the shack on 02 June 2024. He is also facing charges of attempted and arson.

It is reported that the Nyatsunga/Ngobeni is originally from Mozambique, but he might still be in South Africa. He is said to be using fraudulent passport and asylum seeker papers. The suspect is short and dark in complexion.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the suspect is requested to contact Major General Mbuso Khumalo on 082 556 8642 or Lieutenant Colonel Andile Mankayi on 082 413 2141. All information will be treated with confidentiality.

The public is advised not to attempt to apprehend the suspect because he is considered armed and very dangerous.

Criminals are on the prowl for your property.

Kindly be advised of the new modus operandi surrounding houses being listed for sale.

Criminals (including Females), are driving around looking for houses which have a "FOR SALE" sign.
If there are persons at the premises, these ladies will request to view the premises as they are "interested buyers".
Once access is allowed into the property, they hold you at either Gun/Knife-point, and begin to take your belongings.

Recommendations:
1. Engage with your Sales Agent to arrange for scheduled viewings
2. Vetting of such buyers to be conducted prior to a house visit
3. If possible, try not to display the "FOR SALE" sign outside your property, as this invites criminals
4. Try not to Private-Sell your property, but rather work with the Property Sales Agencies in your area

As always, be vigilant. Ensure your premises is locked and secured at all times. Ensure your alarm system is functioning at optimum level and linked to our 24/7 Control Room.

BLUE LIGHT GANG MEETS THEIR END FOLLOWING N3 CHASE

Information was received during the evening of 28 April 2024, about a gang, which had allegedly been committing "blue light robberies" along the N3 between Villiers and Heidelberg using a white Toyota Hilux.

A multi-disciplinary team was mobilised and traced the suspects to a location on the N3 highway near Grootvlei in Mpumalanga.

The vehicle was spotted with blue lights on and when the suspects noticed the police they sped away. This resulted in a high-speed chase towards Zonkizizwe, Ekurhuleni.

The suspects started shooting at the team and the team retaliated. Three suspects were fatally shot and one suspect managed to flee the scene on foot.

The police seized two unlicensed fi****ms and ammunition, blue lights as well as the suspects’ vehicle.

The multidisciplinary team included, SAPS National Head Office Counter Intelligence, Secunda Crime Intelligence, Gauteng Tactical Response Team, Gauteng Anti-Gang Unit, DPC Tracking Team, Johannesburg K9, CAP Specialised Operations, Tracker Connect, ICB Insurance Crime Bureau, MZ Werke Security and Telesure Insurance Investigation.

Crime Scene Management team combed the crime scene for more evidence while the vehicle was taken to Vehicle Crime Investigation Unit for further analysis.

Well done to all involved in taking down these criminals. Let's hope it sends a strong message to any others who plan to terrorize innocent motorists using the N3.

2 BROTHERS SHOT AND KILLED AFTER BEING LURED THROUGH FACEBOOK MARKET PLACE

Police spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu, said the deceased brothers Aaron Alberts, 19, and Kyle Alberts, 30, from St Albans were under the impression that they were going to buy a TV set which was advertised on Facebook Marketplace.

Naidu said the brothers were lured to a house in Ceru Steet in NU 5 in Motherwell where they were informed by the house owners that they knew nothing about a TV sale.

While still at the address, they were approached by two suspects who shot and robbed them. Their cellphones, cash and vehicle were all taken but their bakkie was recovered not far from the crime scene,",said Naidu.

"Police are warning the public that a heinous act such as this, serves as a blatant reminder of the dangers associated with online transactions.We urge the public to exercise caution and diligence when using social media platforms to make purchases.Verify the credibility of sellers, conduct transactions in safe locations, and consider involving law enforcement if there are any suspicions."

Our response team immediately attended, which led to the apprehension of 1x suspect.

SAPS were contacted and arrested the suspect on scene. Video evidence also supplied to SAPS for their investigation.
