We had a great day today celebrating with the graduates!
The Employability Cadetship Graduation kicked off with an opening address from Clayton Lendrum and Mamogale Malatji who opened the ceremony with words of praise for the recent graduates. This was followed by heartfelt and inspiring speeches from Khethiwe Nkuna, Lyn Mansour, Trucia Lubisi, Molebogeng Hliso, and Hina Patel.
The guest speaker, Dr Matete Lerutla’s highly anticipated speech looked into some key messages from her latest book, Walking in your Divine Purpose. Students walked across the stage to receive their certificates while wearing bright smiles.
In the closing leg of the ceremony, the Top Achiever awards in the various courses of the cadetship were announced. Congratulations to Cautlyn Bethanie, Thabang Segone for their achievements. After a vote of thanks from our CEO, Vukani Mngxati, the recent graduates alongside friends, family, and faculty continued the day’s celebrations with a lunch.
KLM Empowered
We have been collaborating with KLM Empowered to equip young and unemployed people with disabilities through cadetships. We are honoured to have contributed to the KLM graduates’ journeys as part of our commitment to equality. The programme was created with the mission of cultivating the skills and talent of people that are often overlooked. Their graduation takes place today at Accenture’s HQ in Waterfall City, Johannesburg.
