This tremendous scaff structure and multiple rigging point set up was meticulously built and set up by our structures and rigging teams.

Layher scaff formed the monstrous backdrop, of the stage, from which LED panels, set elements, and effect lighting were rigged.

Using the CM Loadstar 250KG, 500KG and 100KG motors, we suspended the precisely planned lighting trusses for a spectacular live and televised show.

Anele and the Club Live brought to you by Pepsi: Breaking Boundaries with State-of-the-Art Equipment

In a ground-breaking first, Anele and the Club Live took centre stage at the Teatro, Monte Casino, in a dazzling first ever event that left it’s 1800-seat audience spellbound.

Behind the scenes, Sound Stylists technical setup was nothing short of extraordinary, featuring cutting-edge audio equipment that set a new standard for live performances.

Main PA System: NEXO STM M28
The event was powered by the formidable NEXO STM M28 as the main PA system, delivering unparalleled clarity and power throughout the theatre.

Within the Teatro, Sound Stylists had 12 boxes in the hang, not because they needed the SPL but rather to make sure they covered the steep rake of the venue.

Subwoofers: NEXO STM S118
The thunderous low-end was brought to life by the NEXO STM S118 subwoofers, adding depth and impact to the musical performance.

These powerful subs complemented the main PA system flawlessly, delivering a full-bodied audio experience.

Front Fills and Under Balcony Delays: NEXO ID24 and PS8
Enhancing the M28 experience were NEXO ID24 as front fills and PS8 as under balcony delays.

These strategically chosen and positioned speakers provided seamless audio coverage, ensuring that every inch of the sold-out theatre was filled with rich, balanced sound.

Monitor System: NEXO P10 and P12
Onstage, performer Lloyiso with the Edenglen High School Choir were treated to exceptional monitoring via NEXO P10 wedges for the show opening on the apron of the stage in front of the tabs.

NEXO P12 wedges for Prime Circle, Mi Casa, Chrizz Beatz, Lady Zamar and Jimmy Nevis allowed the artists to hear their monitoring with exceptional clarity and precision.

This monitoring system ensured that each artist could deliver their best performance, fully immersed in the moment.

Amplification and Signal Routing: NUAR and NEXO Amp Racks with Dante Integration
Behind the scenes, the NEXO Universal Amplifier Rack (NUAR) managed the powerhouse NEXO STM system, while NEXO 4x2 amps drove the monitors, all seamlessly interconnected via Dante networking.

This state-of-the-art setup provided efficient and flexible signal routing, essential for a dynamic live event.

Front of House Mixing: Yamaha CL1
At the heart of the operation was the Yamaha CL1 console, positioned at Front of House (FOH).

This versatile digital mixing console allowed the sound engineer, Carel du Plessis, to sculpt the audio with precision, ensuring each element of the performance was perfectly balanced and tailored to the venue's acoustics.

Eurey Snow Mabotha, live and studio engineer for Mi Casa and Kabelo Mohapi live sound engineer for Lloyiso had this to say regarding the audio set up:

“We had the pleasure of experiencing the technical setup at the Anele and the Club Live event. The audio system deployed for this event was truly exceptional.

The choice of the NEXO STM M28 main PA system was spot on. It's a nice system that delivers clear, detailed sound across the frequency spectrum. The high-end frequencies were crisp and well-defined, ensuring that vocals and instruments cut through the mix with precision.

What impressed us the most was the smoothness of the audio throughout the theatre. With the NEXO ID24 front fills and PS8 under balcony delays strategically placed, the sound was evenly distributed, allowing every seat in the theatre to enjoy a consistent listening experience.

Regarding the low-end, the NEXO STM S118 subs were phenomenal. The frequency spectrum was well-balanced, and you could hear the subs seamlessly blending with the tops. This is crucial for live performances, especially in a venue of this size, as it ensures that the audience feels the impact of the music without any overpowering or muddiness.

Overall, we must commend the Sound Stylists team for their excellent choice of audio equipment and meticulous planning. The integration of all these technologies truly elevated the event to a whole new level, delivering an unforgettable audio experience for both performers and audience alike.”
