Carefully combining fresh ingredients, traditional flavours & new ideas I suppose I’ve been a closet foodie all my life.
I have always found food inspirational and I love hosting dinner parties for my friends. When I wasn’t eating or cooking, I was buying hitherto unknown ingredients or experimenting with fresh produce. My travels to gastronomic countries like Morocco, Spain and Argentina further fueled my love for food.

What are Juniper Berries? Juniper berries are actually the tiny pinecones of the juniper shrub, which is found across Europe and North America. The pinecones are so tightly clenched that they look like small, blue-purple berries.
What does Juniper Berries taste like? The taste of the juniper berry is fresh with a fruity citrus flavour and an aromatic, piney spiciness. The berry is in no way sweet, instead it has a pungent, piney taste that can mimic sweetness.
How can I use Juniper Berries? Unlike other berries, people typically only use juniper berries in small amounts to flavour foods — they don’t usually eat them in large portions. For example, people may use juniper berries to add flavour to marinades and spice rubs and give gin its distinctive taste.
