The primary vehicle for achieving high ability (not only musically) and developing beautiful characters, is music ability development on a specific instrument - in this case: Piano!The ‘nurture’ involved in the method is modelled on a concept of early childhood education that focuses on factors which Shinichi Suzuki observed in the way that children learn to speak their mother-tongue: immersion, encouragement, small steps, and an unforced timetable for learning material based on each person’s developmental readiness to imitate examples, internalise principles, and contribute novel ideas.From Notting Hill, London to the Western Cape in South Africa- Sonnika Maritz Venter is a Suzuki Piano Teacher that has trained and taught in the UK from April 2006-October 2010 and has started the first Suzuki Piano Studio in South Africa early in 2011.
