Cranes & Lifting Equipment Company in Durban Area seeking to employ an LMI Crane Technician to join our Service branch. The Candidate must have the following requirements,
• Must be in possession of a valid LMI Certificate & Scope Letter registered with ECSA.
• Must be in possession of an Electrical or Millwright Trade Certificate.
• Must be able to work under pressure with good communication skills between Management, Staff & fellow Employees including Company Customers & Suppliers.
• Experience of all Makes, Types and Model Cranes, Hoists & Various Lifting Equipment including Lifting Tackle.
• Experience in Inspections, repairs, refurbishments & Load Testing of all makes & Types of Cranes, Hoists & Lifting Equipment as per DMR18 & various SANS.
• Experience in Er****on, commissioning & Load Test of New & Refurbished Cranes.
• Responsible for Company Vehicle, Property, Tools & spares.
• Must be medically fit for a Medical Examination prior to employment.
• Must be able to Work at Heights and in various Environments.
• Understanding all Client Requirements for specific Job Instructions
• Awareness of Zero Tolerance on Substance Abuse.
• Ensuring all paperwork and formalities are properly conducted & completed.
• Ensuring that equipment & spares/Parts other than the job Instructions are available for the specific Jobs/Tasks to be scheduled, i.e., weights, ladders, cherry pickers, spares, parts etc.
• Abide by all safety requirements and use of correct safety equipment (PPE).
• Adherence to deadlines and working under pressure a priority.
• Good admin and paperwork skills for report writing purposes.
• Must be a Motivated person with Good Interpersonal Skills
