The Sweetest Brand Reveal!

I am so stoked to introduce the new look for Lake Granbury Honey! 🍯✨ Based in the heart of Texas, they produce 100% raw wildflower honey, the real Texas way, and I had the joy of crafting a unique brand identity for them.

They surprised me with the most delightful request: a honeybee wearing cowboy boots, a hat, and maybe a few wildflowers. How could I resist? 🐝🤠🌼 I created hand-drawn elements, bringing in rich honey tones to capture the sweetness of their product.

In addition to this charming logo, I designed email signatures and business cards to create a fresh and cohesive look. And the best part? They loved everything with no revisions! 🎉

Thank you to Lake Granbury Honey for trusting me with this creative adventure. It was such a pleasure bringing your vision to life! 💛

In the grand dance of design, bigger is not always better 😉🥂 Let me elucidate five reasons why the logo must remain elegantly modest 🤏🏼✨️

BRAND REVEAL 🎉

I am thrilled to reveal the new brand identity for Wellness Beyond Borders, an incredible nonprofit dedicated to redefining mental health support with compassion and empowerment. 🩷💙🧡

Their mission is clear: Empower Minds, Inspire Change. From awareness merchandise and inspiring blogs to engaging workshops, community centers, and consultancy services, Wellness Beyond Borders is making a profound impact on mental health awareness and support.💪🏽

For this project, I designed a captivating logo showcasing a butterfly that symbolises transformation and personal growth. The brand pattern also incorporates a butterfly with a subtle semi-colon, representing hope and resilience. For the color palette, I went with pastel shades to evoke a sense of calm and included custom letterforms to provide a unique and welcoming identity.

This comprehensive branding approach ensures Wellness Beyond Borders resonates deeply with its audience and reinforces its commitment to mental health. Starting with students at the UKZN Pietermaritzburg Campus and expanding across South Africa, Wellness Beyond Borders is dedicated to supporting those facing mental health challenges.🧠✨️

BRAND REVEAL: This week, we're celebrating innovation and transformation with the reveal of the new branding for Devine Parker Consulting!🥂

Overcoming the challenges of an illegible logo and a restricted brand personality, we've crafted a bespoke logo suite and introduced a dynamic color palette to provide room for versatility and expression.✨️

Camouflage green, harmonizing with shades of Lime Spruced blue, forms the expanded palette, providing a fresh and distinctive identity. A blend of script and sans-serif typography adds a touch of classic femininity, aligning perfectly with the client's professional image and promise of success.💚 💙

But that's not all! We went beyond the logo, creating a cohesive brand experience across social media posts, business cards, and email signatures. Additionally, we embarked on crafting a distinct branding for their online course, "Donorflow Academy" Designed to resonate with the Devine Parker branding, yet stand out on its own, Donorflow radiates its unique identity amidst Devine Parker.

Sheri & Co are thrilled to introduce our latest creation, the Zero2Five height tool! 📏✨ designed with vibrant illustrations and colours that ignite children's imaginations 🌈

This project aims at reducing child stunting and malnutrition by training ECD practitioners and CHW (Community Health Workers) in GMP for quick and efficient referral of children with suboptimal growth to the nearby clinic.

Follow these easy steps, and you'll be on the fast track to exhaustion in no time!😉

All jokes aside, though, burnout is a serious issue that should be avoided. Don't forget to take care of yourself, prioritize self-care, and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Stay balanced, and may the flames of burnout forever flicker at a safe distance!🧡

What do your brand colors say about you? 🌈

This past weekend I got to spend some time exploring the gorgeous downtown riverwalk in San Antonio. All the colors had me feeling so inspired and got me thinking about how color psychology plays a big role in content marketing.

Different colors can evoke different emotions in people, so it's important to choose a color palette that best reflects your brand and then make sure to use them consistently in your content.

Here is what a few colors reflect:

❤️ Red:
Bold, fun, and often associated with winning. It's a color often worn by athletes as it's been shown to have an advantage over opponents. Red also stimulates hunger, so many food brands incorporate it into their logos and marketing materials.

🍊 Orange:
A happy color that brings feelings of cheerfulness and playfulness. Orange also instills confidence.

🟡 Yellow:
Optimism, light, and warmth. Yellow also pairs well with red for food brands (hmm wonder which one it makes you think of first?🤔). In saying that yellow is the LEAST popular color worldwide.

🔷 Blue:
About a third of businesses use blue as their primary brand color because it symbolizes trust, loyalty, and security. Blue is also associated with strength and dependability and is the most popular color.

🟩 Green:
Green can go either way - some brands use it to reflect health and freshness, while others use dark greens to signify affluence and prestige. Green also sparks creativity, so it's worth considering if you want an innovative vibe.

🟣 Purple:
Purple represents sophistication and wisdom. It makes people think of extravagance, wealth, or superiority.

🟫 Brown:
Brown appeals to earth-friendly brands. It also symbolizes durability and reliability.

🖤🤍 Black and White:
While not technically colors on the spectrum, black and white are timeless choices for branding. Many brands use black-and-white in their logos for a classic and professional look.

And last, but never least...

💕Pink:
Femininity, creativity, playfulness, calmness, compassion, and nurturing. A little bit of everything. 😉

I opted for black, white and pink for Lemonade Collective's color palette because it covered all the bases for what I wanted to portray in my own branding. 💃🏽 The wonderful Sheri & Co - Design Studio pulled it all together perfectly. Get yourself a Sheri! 😍

➡️ TOP TIP: It's important to remember that perceptions of color can also vary based on cultural associations - so make sure to do your research!

After 4 months of creative block, inspiration finally struck. I'm yet to name this piece but for now it's just "The Giraffe"😅🦒
