Follow on from a previous post, the 120kw chiller has been completed, tested and sent off to the client, quality at its best.

New addition to our family to make building equipment in our workshop a little easier, thanks Goscor for our new 3 ton forklift...

I am writing to express my highest levels of satisfaction experienced recently when your company repaired our chemistry freezer and later the fridge.

Let me start by saying just how impressed I was with the professionalism of Sindi Hlengwa. She is so bright, quick, sharp, active, alive and alert; I do wish she worked at UKZN. She has a pleasant disposition, is very courteous and once you have spoken to her you sense genuine heartfelt care and concern to have your repair challenge fixed. Next I want to talk about Paul, Grant, Quinton and very especially Lloyd [Mr Liverpool F.C]. The units are in a very hardy chemical environment surrounded by thirteen thousand bottles of toxic, corrosive and explosive chemicals.

The unit threw them many curve balls due to the build-up of corrosion from the load shedding in 2020 and they never once complained, but handled the situation like true professionals. I was also a challenge for them, seeing that I don’t work daily or full days when I get in, due to covid-19 restrictions. These guys were absolutely professional and accommodated me.

The units are working well in spite of the challenge it provided them.

- Tunnel outside dimensions - 1200mm x 1200mm x 2400mm H. Pump and tank base of 1200mm x 400mm
wide protrudes from one side - this can also come as a separate unit to mount remotely.
- Constructed from 25mm x 25mm, aluminium square tube, cladded on top and 2 sides with white
chromadek sheeting, finished off with aluminium angles for a perfect finish.
- Modular unit design.
- Pump is a 0.37kw, 220V, high pressure pump, fitted with a no flow and low liquid safety device.
- 45L clear liquid tank.
- 6 x mist spray nozzles.
- 1 x set optical beam sensors which initiates the nozzle spray for a time of 4 seconds - this time can be
adjusted to suit the client.
- 2000mm x 1200mm x 8mm astroturf mat, this sanitizers staff shoes at the same time.
- Hands free hand sanitizing unit secured on entrance.
- 5m power cable, complete with 16A, 3 pin plug top.

At 4 second spray time per person, the tunnel can sanitize approximately 650 people per hour. The tunnel uses 24ml of product per person, 1 x 45L tank will sanitize 1875 people. Cost of the product is R 10.80 excl vat per liter - R 270.00 excl vat per 25L drum. This works out to approximately 26 cents cost per person to sanitize.

We supply a disinfectant product called F10SC to use in our tunnels, total spectrum (effective against bacteria, fungi, viruses and spores). F10SC Disinfectant is ideally suited for fighting micro-organisms that are spread via droplets as it can be used for aerial as well as surface disinfection. F10SC can be used in the presence of humans and animals through misters, humidifiers, sprayers, HP washers and
electrical/petrol fogging machines.

The products will not cause fumes, irritation, staining or corrosion. No rinsing is required and the product is completely biodegradable with a zero rating according to EN standards. Acute toxicity studies complying with current international standard protocols, covering oral, dermal and inhalation toxicity, eye and dermal irritation, and skin sensitization were recently done. These are all supervised GLP (Good laboratory Practice) studies and were carried out using a non-lethal end point control. The results demonstrated that all in-use concentrations were non-toxic.
