*(For those who have already applied) The acceptance letter will be issued after the NSC results which is from 23 Feb 2021
*Registration will take place from 01 March to 09 April

Purpose
The primary purpose of the National List of Occupations in High Demand: 2020 is to improve the responsiveness of the Post-School Education and Training System to the needs of the economy and to the broader developmental obectives of the country. More specifically, this list has been compiled to support planning processes in the PSET system by: serving as a signpost for enrolment planning at universities, TET olleges and other education and training institutions signalling the need for the development of new qualifications, especially to respond to new and emerging occupations and skills needs

A summary of the Deputy minister's address Today:
*Reopening of schools*
_15 Jan 2021_
Deputy Minister of Basic Education, Dr Reginah Mhaule, has announced changes to the return dates for schools due to the COVID-19 infection rate. The delay aims to provide relief to the health system.
These decisions were made after extensive consultations. All stakeholders were united in supporting a delay.
The new dates for public schools are:
25 Jan: SMTs report for duty
01 Feb: Teachers start
15 Feb: Learners return
Private schools that have already reopened will also need to postpone to delay for two weeks, the return date depending on the calendar they follow.
