Retha contacted me to design a new logo and do all of her corporate branding for her practice. I had to put on my nerdy "librarian" glasses and dig deep into researching "psychodrama". I had no clue what that even meant... π€
Psychodrama is a deep action method developed by Jacob Levy Moreno (1889 β 1974), in which people enact scenes from their lives, dreams or fantasies in βan effort to express unexpressed feelings, gain new insights and understandings, and practice new and more satisfying behaviors.β
I have used the psychodrama symbol in a balanced manner together with the sun. The sun being a positive symbol of a new day, new beginnings. A warm colour palette to enhance the feeling of being safe and taken care of.
