"Mantswe a Kgothatso" simply means "Words of Encouragement" in Southern Sotho.

I really love posting motivational qoutes in my mother tongue.

It reminds me of my past experiences with colleagues that were amazing thinkers and strategists but struggled to articulate their thoughts and ideas in the "Queens Language".

I would always ask that they explain it to me in their home language and sure enough, that would always give me a better understanding of their thinking process.

I personally believe that we could achieve more as a country if we took the time to understand each other and language is one of the tools we can use to achieve that.

It's very rare to find some uplifting material on social media in a language you can understand without having to translate it in your head. I am hoping that these qoutes that I post every week will motivate others to come up with their own so that we can all benefit from the vast knowledge and upliglftment hidden in our beautifully crafted indigenous languages.
