Celebrating Women

Join us on Sunday, August 25th at 9:30 AM for a special family service dedicated and led by the Women of St. Francis.

Come and enjoy our lively music, inspiring readings, and meaningful messages. After the service, there will be tea and a short reflection session.

Throughout the month of August, we celebrate all women from all walks of life and show appreciation for the vital roles they play in our church and communities.

Please note, there will be a special collection throughout the month to raise funds for our church.

Happy 80th birthday to Peter Bellingham, a dedicated member of the Cub/Scout movement. Megan Innes has also been busy growing and collecting veggies for Madiba Day and her Springbok badge in Scouts. Special thanks to Father Meshack and David Innes for their support.

We are proud to recognize three Springbok Scouts: Nolan Bellingham, Megan Innes, and Quentin Bellingham.

Additionally, we're thrilled to announce that the collected veggies have been donated to our Soup Kitchen, spreading joy and nourishment. Thank you to everyone involved!

Souper Seniors Sop en Dop

This past Saturday, St. Francis Parish celebrated its seniors with the "Souper Seniors" Sop en Dop, a heartfelt event filled with love and appreciation. The Parish hall was beautifully decorated, and the aroma of homemade soups welcomed all attendees.

Our senior Parishioners enjoyed a variety of soups, along with a delightful selection of sherry. The event featured speeches and stories that honored the invaluable contributions of our seniors, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie.

Fr. Meshack opened the gathering with a heartfelt thank you, emphasizing the irreplaceable wisdom and love our seniors bring to our community.

The "Souper Seniors" event was a testament to the deep bonds within our Parish, celebrating the heart and soul of St. Francis.
