Empowa Women Leadership Summit 2024 | Ms. Sharon Sepeng, AgriSETA's Chairperson of the Board, will be speaking at the Empowa Women Leadership Summit 2024, on Saturday 24 August 2024, at The Campus Forum in Bryanston, Gauteng.

Ms Sepeng will be sharing her knowledge and experience on the Agriculture and Workshop Stage alongside 100 top speakers in front of 1500 delegates. This is an opportunity to connect, learn, and grow with some of the brightest minds in the industry.

Strategic Session| AgriSETA's Divisions are now discussing their Annual Performance Plan and Strategic Objectives.

Community Outreach| AgriSETA is today, 16 August 2024, providing career guidance to the community of Delmas at the Simon Gondwe Sports Center under the Victor Khanye Local Municipality. This is a community outreach programme led by the Department of Employment and Labour.

AgriSETA 3rd Research Colloquium | Ms Linda Nocaka, a master student at the University of Pretoria and beneficiary of AgriSETA bursary, is presenting her research project which is funded by AgriSETA.

Ms Nocaka’s study is in the: "Establishment of persistent infection with Foot-and - Mouth virus serotype SAT in BHK-21 cells".

AgriSETA appreciates the robust engagement of stakeholders and participants, including those joining us remotely.

AgriSETA is this morning, 07 August 2024, at the University of Pretoria to celebrate the University's Faculty of Veterinary Science Day. This event marks a significant occasion through which the university brings together students, industry professionals, and stakeholders to honour the contributions and advancements in veterinary science.

Career Exhibition | AgriSETA is in Kareedouw in the Eastern Cape Province, providing career guidance to Grade 11 and 12 learners at Kgagiso Heights Community Hall today, 02 August 2024.

The career exhibition is hosted by the Sarah Baartman District Municipality in partnership with the Department of Education. This is to inform learners in rural areas about agri careers and available opportunities in the sector.

Mandela Month| Today, 29 July 2024, AgriSETA joined the North West Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in its Mandela Month programme in Marikana led by MEC, Madoda Sambatha.

Career Expo | AgriSETA is today, 26 July 2024, at Kgagatlou Secondary School in Malebitsa Village in the Marble Hall area in Limpopo Province, to provide career guidance to rural learners from Grade 10 to 12.

This is an initiative by our stakeholder, AFGRI, through its Corporate Social Investment (CSI) programme, which is dedicated to providing learners in rural and farm areas with opportunities to develop strong career and life plans for their futures.

Career Awareness| Today, 19 July 2024, AgriSETA is at Transoranje School for the Deaf in Pretoria, Gauteng Province, to host a Career Awareness for learners with hearing impairment.

This is to provide career guidance and to enhance career awareness for individuals with disabilities and for Grade 8-12 learners.

The event is led by sister entity, MerSETA, in collaboration with Tshiamo Keone organisation.
