New range Thor compact RC rig . Total weight off 7.5 tons . The rig has 4 meter stroke and uses 3 meter drill rods . It can be trammed manually or with a remote . It comes with dump mast and hydraulic head tilt . The front outriggers fold out making it wide enough so that you can reverse a flat bed truck underneath it for easy loading. It has 14 ton pull back and 4500nm Torque on the rotation head . With minimal setup it could be used for RC , DTH , Air core or Mud rotation drilling . The small rig with the big punch . This unit was built in our Upington factory by my brother and his team . It has 14 ton pull back and has a 4500nm RC/DTH rotation head on . Built on rubber tracks that can be trammed manually and by remote controll This small rig can reach depths of 300 meter plus with eas . It can do RC , DTH and mud rotation drilling and gets into very small spaces . It handles 3 meter rods and has a water pump , dump mast and hydraulic head tilt . Another Thor 5000 exploration plus done for our valued customers Bamboo . Thanks guys . This unit has an onboard 1200cfm 35bar new generation Atlas copco drill air unit on . And a 150kw Cummins that drives the hydraulics. It has a rod bin that can carry 300 meters of 4.5" 6 meter RC rods and a Thor hands free rod loader . We have added both top and bottom rod kickers to help you line up the rods much faster thus improving tripping time and saving threads. We mounted the Thor sampler that has a ceramic intake drum with a double drop box and adjustable Stationary cone splitter to a hydraulic arm that can drop the complete sampler to a safe ground level for cleaning and maintenance. The unit comes with central draining points , hydraulic keeper , Thor rod breaker , safety railings with cut outs , e stops , wire line winch with 400 meters of rope . High pressure injection pump , hydraulic head tilt , dump mast , remote control for tramming blow up blow down system and so the list goes on . We would like to thank Nardus and his team from Torque Africa Group - Drilling for trusting us to build them a small but strong drill rig to give them more options to drill in confined spaces . This rig has a 4500nm RC/Dth rotation head and drills with 3 meter rods . It has hydraulic head tilt and dump mast . The tramming can be done manually or with the remote control. It can drill RC , DTH , Mud rotary , Air core or auger. With a depth capacity of 300 meters with ease.
