Our u13 Boys and Girls tennis teams had a great time at the Buffelspoort Tennis Schools U/13 Tournament this past weekend.

Our girls team finished in 4th place, while our boys team secured 10th place👏✨ Additionally, our girls team won the title for Best Team Spirit🥳👏

Every player gave their best and not only honed their tennis skills but also learned valuable life lessons. They were true ambassadors of Woodhill College. A huge thank you to Mr Boshoff and Mrs Spiwak for travelling with the teams and for joining in the fun and games. It would be remiss of us not to thank our amazing Coach Erda Todd for accompanying them too and for her ongoing encouragement, support and commitment to the development and growth of tennis at our school.
To quote Coach Erda,
"As the coach, I couldn’t be prouder of our team and of being part of the Woodhill family".

The congregation at The Glen Methodist Church was treated to a wonderful performance this morning as our Primary School Senior Choir joined the Sing in Harmonie National Children's Choir in a special Spring Day performance at the church🌻✨

Our choir is a regular visitor to the church as they perform to the congregation and broader community several times a year.🌻

What a blessing they are to share their talents and bring joy to others through their music🙏

Thank you to Mrs Mitchell and our parents for accompanying our learners and Ms Karina Erasmus the National Choir conductor.

What a fabulous day celebrating creativity and Spring! High school learners took part in workshops ranging from bath salts and body scrub making to origami crafts inspired by a recent trip to Japan. Some were learning how to sokkie and piano dance while art enthusiats enjoyed a master class from renowned artist and teacher Eric Möller armed with cups of paints, oils, a hairdryer and a blowtorch. Aspiring cooks made jollof rice and decorated cupcakes. The evening was rounded off with a Best Bakery Bin Competition and a Potjie Cookoff involving learners, parents and teachers from all three schools.

✨Our Group 3 learners are little stars✨
What a delight our little children are 🙂
They arrive at the beginning of each year as tiny tots (2 years turning 3) and grow and flourish 🌱each day under the nurturing care and guidance of our wonderful teachers⭐

As parents, one always wants the best for one's child, as educators, we are passionate about education and nurturing the children in our care, always encouraging them to be the best they can be. When asked, some learners say they want to be a doctor, a fireman, a policeman and one does not know which career a learner will follow.

What we do know is that at Woodhill College each learner is SPOILT FOR CHOICE and we encourage them to embrace all that is offered at our school; a school that is renowned for academic excellence, sport and culture⭐

Let Woodhill College be YOUR school of choice for your child.

In our Preschool, imaginative play is where life long learning begins✨
Boxes become tents and cars, chairs turn into trains and rocks are transformed into meteorites🙂

Did you know that working in the garden is not just about getting ones hands dirty? Yes, it is wonderful to spend time outdoors in the warm sun as our preschool children do, but there are other benefits too✨

Our preschool learners planted seedlings in preparation for Spring and in so doing improved their fine and gross motor skills by digging, planting and watering the seedlings. Their sense of touch, sight and smell was also stimulated by handling the soil and plants 🪴

It also allows for a deeper connection with nature.

Our high school PWRD-up prayer group recently joined Every Nation Church in a powerful worship evening. Every Nation Church and five of our own learners formed a band for the evening’s worship🎼

Thank you to our caring teachers and coaches who encourage and nurture our little ones each day ⭐
