The Hatfield Online School staff met for their annual training this past week. It was a time of fellowship, fun, and learning for the teachers and admin staff. They engaged in several team-building activities, ranging from solving puzzles and crosswords in their cars whilst they raced around Pretoria, to a masterclass in cupcake decorating 🙃. The staff left the sessions energized and equipped to tackle 2024 with enthusiasm!

Check out this amazing Extreme Reading Challenge entry from Ruan Jansen van Vuuren. 😱 The drone video was taken on top of Maroepskop, which is one of the highest peaks in the Northern Drakensberg. 🤩 The mountain is also the highest point of the Blyde Canyon which is thought to be the third largest canyon in the world and the Largest "Green canyon" in the world. Reaching 1950m above sea level! 🤪 Ruan originally climbed the mountain for bird watching and thought why not get a few photos and a video at the same time. Can you beat this entry?
