Zanensu Photo Editing

So I finished my first Illustrator course today through Udemy and can highly recommend Phil Ebiner and Daniel Walter Scott for instructing this course. Would love to do an advanced course soon. If you didn't know, I also have an illustration page https://www.facebook.com/scoetzerillustrations/ where I post digital illustrations by commission (and personal). I am considering merging my editing and my illustrations page at some point, as it seems the worlds are starting to collide. Too much love for digital art.

On client's request I added a pool of water, I also softened the background and added more vibrance to the photo.

Do you struggle with a backdrop that is too small? Whether it be dance photos or large family group photos.

Going to be sharing a lot of cute newborns this week! Big thanks to the photographer who lets me use her photos to show before-and-after editing. These are considered advanced edits - which means not only levels, colour, crop, sharpen etc. in Lr, but extensive attention to detail in Ps - like skin softening, overal skin colour, adding colour to lips and cheeks, filling in backdrop & smoothing backdrop, editing out diaper, overall softness but keeping clarity on baby's features.

So what exactly is an advanced edit? From Lr to Ps. Colour, levels; skin edited (redness, bumps, flaking); selective sharpening (to make eyes pop); liquifying (shape of baby's body inside the wrap). See close-up for skin before-and-after.
